Using Cogynt AI Chatbot
The Cogynt AI Chatbot is part of the Cogynt intelligence suite. It provides AI-assisted analysis in two contexts:
- Within a specific event.
- As a standalone tool.
The chatbot is available only after an AI Config is configured for either general or event chat sessions. For more information, see Configuring Cogynt AI.
Accessing the Chatbot
The chatbot is accessible through general chat sessions and event-specific sessions.
General Chat Sessions
Click the AI button in the top app bar to open the global chat interface, where you can view all your past chat sessions.
Click New Chat to start a new session.
The AI button is disabled if no AI Config is created for general sessions.
Event-Specific Sessions
For details on chatting within an event, see Using the Chatbot with Events.
Working with Chat Sessions
Cogynt.ai provides several options for using and maintaining chat sessions.
Finding and Viewing Sessions
To open a session, select it from the page.
To locate a specific session, enter its name in the Search bar.
To filter sessions, select from the following options in the filter menu:
- Type: Event or general.
- Created: Date the session was created.
- Updated: Date you last interacted with the session.
Renaming Sessions
Sessions can be renamed as necessary (for example, to help organize them by time or topic).
To rename a session:
- Click the More menu (⋮) beside the session.
- Select Rename.
- Enter a new name for the session. The name can be up to 30 characters long.
- Click the checkmark to save the name, or X to discard it.
Deleting Sessions
Deleted sessions are removed from chat history.
Only session owners can delete their own sessions, but super_admin users can delete any session.
To delete a session:
- Click the More menu (⋮) beside the session (in the session list or next to the text input box).
- Select Delete.
- Confirm the deletion, or click Cancel to keep the session instead.
Deleted sessions cannot be recovered.
Selecting Models
The available models for a chat session are defined in its associated AI Config.
The active model is displayed at the bottom of the chat window. If your session is configured for multiple models, you can click the model name to select a different one.
If a model is deprecated, you will be prompted to select another model.
If no models are available, a warning will prompt you to contact your Cogynt administrator to configure valid models in the AI Config.
